Manukura students start up their food technology classes in 2019!

Senior Food Technology students took up a challenge of making organic wholegrain oat, spelt & cranberry cookies without refined sugar. Giving samples to customers and writing down stakeholder feedback for their research made the whole experience really fulfilling. Main feedback “perfect” and “more cranberries please”! Ka pai team, your cookies are amazing. Bring it on 2019, let’s see what great outcomes we develop together!

MANUKURA Year 9 boys were very busy during their first plant-based cooking class, peeling and chopping pumpkin, ginger, onions and silverbeet to make a delicious curry that we sold to the customers who asked for a warm lunch option!
Two students joined Fred and made coconut bars, and two other students helped wrapping carob bars. Ka pai team! Great, new experiences, with new flavours and combinations of food!
