Over the past few weeks, Awatapu College students have participated in our organic wholefood cooking workshops. In each lesson we’ve learnt some quick and easy ways to incorporate a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, legumes and whole grains when designing nourishing and delicious meals. The final highlight of the course will be the student-hosted dinner. The students chose the menu, and practiced it during the workshops. They are inviting everyone who would like to support them to this event on 1 April 2019 @ 7pm!
Appetiser: Sprouted crostini with macadamia “cheese,” grilled eggplant, cherry tomatoes and baby greens.
Main: Butternut & spinach lasagna, served on brown jasmine rice, with slow roast rosemary tomatoes, tempeh cubes and green salad.
Dessert: Vanilla fruit tarts.
