Hemp-seed crusted potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower bake with tempeh, cashew cream, and cos lettuce on the Hands-On Dinner menu tonight!

Quite a busy afternoon at Hands-On. Some students preparing hemp seed crusted potatoes*, others patiently weighing out the right amounts of broccoli, cauliflower, tempeh and cashew cream in order to create a vegetable bake in separate ramekins. Great concentration span team! Other students had the opportunity to help coat coconut bars and also to wrap carob bars. All were busily engaged both before and throughout the dinner service. Thanks to everyone for their support and enthusiasm.

* We did not use any oil with the crusted potatoes. Hemp seeds are exceptionally nutritious and rich in the right balance of healthy fats, as well as being high in protein and various minerals. Combined with salt, hemp seeds naturally create a flavoursome crust on potatoes when baked.
