MANUKURA Y9 Food Technology Classes 2020

The Y9 food technology classes this year have a great challenge – contributing to school lunches on a weekly basis by making healthy salads, stews, and sauces that are fully plant-based.

We are learning about the right portion sizes of each food group in every meal, discussing the key macro nutrients (the food groups) and also the important vitamins and minerals (the micro nutrients).
